New tracks for an All Singing, No Dancing re-release!

Well, it's back into the studio for the Suade lads. Following discussions with MGM on the release of the All Singing, No Dancing album, they've requested that one track be removed from the existing CD, and that we replace it with two or three new ones. So we've pretty much got another couple of weeks to get the new tracks recorded, mixed and mastered - as well as re-doing the cover art of the CD. It's action stations, particularly since we've been so busy lately gigging. Luckily, it's going pretty well; the new tracks are coming up great, and it's good to be working with our engineer Zac again. This time around it's too cold to be singin' in our underpants so it's been full trousers. Hopefully that won't affect the quality too much. Recent gigs have been great fun too: the Milennium Chorus show at the Melbourne Concert Hall was a beauty, followed by a great gig at the Cornish Arms in support of the brilliant Stiff Gins, who enthralled everyone with their hypnotic storytelling, sweet tunes and self-effacing charm. Last Sunday's gig at Holy Advent was great too - a chance for us to concentrate fully on the music rather than our normal stage shenanigans in a very pretty acoustic. A great experience. Obviously, the Northcote Social Club show is up next, and that's going to be huge. We're really looking forward to that. And in the meantime, we'll quietly keep you in the dark about what the new tracks are going to be for the re-release of the CD! Hope to see y'all soon! :) Loz ...and the Suade lads.
