SammyQ at the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony

I don't know about you guys, but I thought the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony kicked butt over the lame and uninspired opening effort.

Was it the gorgeous Indian movie stars, gyrating and fluttering their long, CFM eyelashes at the cameras? Perhaps.

The great humour and international pisstaking of Dame Edna? Possibly.

The bombs and pyrotechnics igniting the whole city? Maybe.

How about a man-size serve of Farnsy bangin' out a few of his biggest hits to a deafening response in a packed MCG? Could be.

But to me, and the other Suade boys, the best bit was seeing our very own Sammy Q yodelling away on the big stage as one of the backing singers through the entire show.

Onya Sammy! And brilliant job, whoever organised the whole shebang, it made me proud to be a Melbournian!
