What's up our dates this month? Well, for starters there's a show on in November that you can get tickets for right now: Suade: The Thunderbards return to the Chapel Don't miss this great chance to see Suade return to Chapel Off Chapel in 2008. The last six months have been extremely busy for the boys: in the studio, on the road, and busily planning their CD release and tours for next year. What's with this 'Thunderbards' shenanigans? Well, it's a title idea we're throwing around for the upcoming disc. It might just be one of those crazy ideas you get in Tassie. Whaddya reckon? This show also holds huge historic value for Suade – we say farewell to the venerable Sammy Q (hopefully he can join us for a few numbers), and a big welcome for our newest member, Rob, who is busting his pooper to get up to speed as we speak. A great mix of new songs and classic Suade goodies will be on offer for all in attendance! An important show not to be missed. Saturday November 8th @ 8:00pm. Tickets: $30 Full, $20 Concession, $20 Group of 10 or more. Bookings : contact 8290 7000 or book online here: http://sabo.seatadvisor.com/sabo/servlets/TicketRequest?eventId=118727&presenter=AUCOS&venue=&event=. Tickets are NOW ON SALE and WILL sell out very quickly. Make sure you do not miss this fantastic opportunity and BOOK NOW! In other news... SCHOOL WORKSHOP PROGRAM Yes, they let us near small children. Our schools program has been ramping up in recent months and we now have a promotional video that can be viewed at http://suade.net/schools/. If you still go to school or know someone who goes to school or know someone who's second cousin's dog-walker's neighbour's lawn-mover's friend knows someone who once knew someone who went to school… let them know! We can't really think of any better way to liven up your school choir or music program than to get us five goons in to show the kids how to make great music and HAVE FUN DOING IT! One school we visited twice in two years reckons that thanks to us they've got twice as many boys in their singing program as they used to. Now that's an endorsement! You can get an idea of what we get up to from the video. If your school is interested or you want Suade to visit your child's school, the Colonel's the bloke to speak to - you know how to find him, he's back from his four weeks of man-slavery as a lounge singer on a cruise ship. See you soon - and if you haven't booked your Chapel tickets yet, you might be too late! (We have some pretty die-hard fans, you know). Keep feelin' the Suadey love. Cheers, Een ...and the Suade lads.
